The Eichsfeld and its surroundings have both hilly landscapes for demanding biking and well-developed cycle paths, which connect the villages with each other in a good network. You can also cycle very comfortably along rivers. With the "Leine" right in front of the "doorstep", the "Werra", "Unstruth", "Fulda" and "Wipper" there are many alternatives here.
You can drive the "Leine" from us towards Göttingen and towards Leinefelde. There are nice day trips to interesting cities. On the way you will find cafés and ice cream parlors to enjoy and relax. For demanding cyclists and people with eBikes there are also very nice circular routes, for example the "Leine/Werraweg" via "Burg Hanstein" to the Werra and back via Wahlhausen.
